The world is changing. Long cherished systems are losing their status: the financial world gets blamed for the economic crisis that, for those who read the newspaper, watch TV and follow conversations, is inevitable. But it is too short-sighted to just put the financial institutions in a bad light.

Because we owe much of our increased prosperity directly to our financial system. You can have an opinion about this, but the economic growth of the last fifteen years has been made possible by the same financial world. Economic growth that has also brought Priva to where it is today. And growth which is also the driving force behind the movement that Priva is now going through. So some nuance is required.

From export company to international player
In times of economic crisis, many countries tend to retreat behind their borders, a form of protectionism. Precisely in such a time, it is important to be close to the market, close to the customers, to earn and maintain the trust of customers. And the trust that we will be there, that we will provide service and we will not run away – we create that trust by working in the same time zone as our customers. From export company to international player!

We also owe the confidence among our end users to our distribution network. Fifty years of Priva, an occasion which we are thankful for and we do not want to pass silently, could only be achieved thanks to our loyal dealers and partners. Many of these dealers and partners are feeling the effects of the economic crisis and Priva will also have to anticipate these developments.
Economic growth and making profits is no longer a matter of course. This is a movement which may lead to a new economy of sharing together, making things better together. An economy in which we look for the optimal benefit for the group, rather than the individual gain for the individual.

Converting movement into energy. That’s what we like to do at Priva.
