The government as driver
We spend more time thinking about the extra 500 euros that we may all have to pay in connection with the credit crisis than about the 40 percent loss of biodiversity in the world and the enormous problems with usable water we are going to face. We are still keeping our eyes closed to this.
The frustrating thing is that everything takes so long in the Netherlands. That is something I would like to change. That is my drive. But that is not possible without the government. The government should play a much more proactive role so that ambitions are raised to a higher level.

Back then it still consisted of a financial holding company and four divisions: Multin Technology Group, Sentron, Priva Agro and Priva Building Intelligence. With Balou to the dog groomers
This morning our dog had to go to the groomers. Our dog is a robust beast, a Leonberger weighing more than 80 kilos, and going to the groomers is, to put it mildly, not really his favorite hobby. According to the experts, Leonbergers are friendly, calm animals. They have no problem with crowds or noise, are obedient, docile and fearless … and they let you take them wherever you want to go without any problem. The latter attribute does not really apply when it comes to taking our Balou to the dog groomers.

Close-by
Close to the market, close to the people. Anyone who does business internationally will sooner or later face the choice: will I grow as an export-oriented organization or will I achieve my growth by being present locally. In my vision, in which business is based on trust, that choice is not difficult and I opt for the latter option.
